QUALITY MANAGER
 
Axis Recruitment is actively recruiting on behalf of our client we are urgently recruiting for a Quality Manager; this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual.  As a Quality Manager you will be implementing a quality management processes in line with company standards and have full responsibility to effectively support the quality assurance and quality control of all the company's products and processes.
 
Location:      Republic of Ireland
 
Role:
 
Set direction for, and lead the Quality Team
Ensure that Company’s Quality Standards are relevant and are adhered to
Set stretching Quality Objectives for the business, and Track Performance against them.
Ensure compliance with Quality Management System, including Quality Control and Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with external accreditation
Lead initiatives to improve First Time Quality
Drive a reduction in Non Conforming Product
Work with suppliers and help them achieve exacting standards
Work closely with Senior Management Teams in mentoring Lean Manufacturing teams
 
Requirements:
 
You will be a proven people manager with a record of delivering results
You will hold a technical degree, preferably in mechanical engineering
You will have at least 10 years experience working in a manufacturing environment, at least 5 of which should have been in a management capacity
Ideally you will come from an engineering back ground, CNC/ CRM knowledge would be an advantage
You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate a sense of pace and urgency across the business
