Axis Recruitment, is currently recruiting on behalf of our Client ITS New Media. The company was established in 1998 in Newry as an Internet Marketing and Web Design Agency. They design, build and promote interactive websites for companies throughout the UK & Ireland. Solutions include, Web Design, Web Development (E-commerce, E-zines, CRM & Content Management Systems), Internet Marketing and Hosting. ITS new media currently manage websites and extranets for over 700 clients and have been ranked as one of the fastest growing IT companies in Ireland for the past 7 years in the Deloitte Fast 50.

The Role - .Net Web Applications Developer (ASP, C#)

This is a senior developer position with key technical skills of asp.Net and Web Applications Development. Initially you will be involved in the development of a new range of web applications including Website Management System integrated with Content Management System, E-zine and E-commerce. This position will evolve to support and develop this system as the customer base increases for the new range of products. You may also be required to support older systems developed in classic ASP. You will be a key member of a busy production & support team continually developing and supporting the websites & networks of the customer base.

The Candidate

Essential:

- BSc in Computer Science or related discipline

- Min of 2 Years Developing Web Applications in C#/ASP.Net 2.0 or above.

- Experience of / willingness to work in a small busy team environment

- Key Skills: ASP.net, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio, XML

Desirable:

- Web development using CSS, Ajax & Java Script

- Experience is Front End Technical Support

For this role you will need to be experienced in the essential key skills, highly self motivated, be a team player, with strong communication skills, sound technical skills and the ability to deliver to tight timescales.

Package

- £20-30k depending on experience

- 28 Days Holidays
